Wadi Rum was the place I truly felt the meaning of cultural connection. Henna, tea, stories, laughter - painted into memory. 🧡

Have you ever felt instantly at home in a place far from yours?

Swipe to see BEHIND THE SCENES of this look 😅

2024 was unexpected

In January, I moved to Switzerland - a country I never imagined calling home. After three years of living on the road, I finally have a stable homebase in Zurich. Moving here with no job, no understanding of the Swiss dialect, and no idea what to expect was scary, and the beginning of the year was full of challenges, but I had the intuition that it would be worth it.

I had a few failed attempts working for different companies, and they all ended in tears. But looking back, I realize this gave me courage to follow my dream of becoming independent and starting my own business.

2024 brought challenges, but it also brought me incredible new friendships and beautiful communities in Switzerland, which I am grateful for samekollektiv sony.ch.at impacthubzurich femalefoundersswitzerland

Now, as 2025 approaches, I can’t wait to see what new challenges, projects, and inspiring people will come along. This year reminded me of one thing: dreams do come true.

How was your 2024? What was the most unexpected thing that happened to you?

Happy New Year to all of you!
Love, Domča🎉✨

I used to think travel was about how many countries, or places I could see. Now I believe it’s about how deeply I can feel a place and its people.

A remote Thai village taught me that.

Slow travel changed everything, not just how I explore, but how I connect and how I create.

📍 Have you ever traveled slowly? Tell me about it below. 💚

Mini Guide to hiking in Grindelwald, Switzerland 🏔️

📍Getting to Grindelwald – The village is easily reached by train from Interlaken (about 30 minutes) or by car. If you’re driving, be ready for winding mountain roads and epic views the whole way.

Stay – There’s a huge range of accommodation, I’d recommend finding a mountain chalet with views of the Eiger! We traveled to Grindelwald with our van and stayed at Camping Gletscherdorf. (camping_gletscherdorf)

Hike – We spent a weekend hiking around, passing by waterfalls, rivers, lush green forests, bungee jumping people 😮, glaciers, cows, sheeps, finally enjoying our lunch with a view at the Bäregg Hütte and mainly being super impressed by the view of Eiger!

Other option – If you’re up for more adventure, you can tackle longer hikes like the Faulhornweg or even use Grindelwald as a base to explore nearby Jungfraujoch, Lauterbrunnen, or Wengen. Grindelwald First, walking across the thrilling First Cliff Walk, visiting the magical Bachalpsee Lake, exploring the Glacier Gorge.

Top tips – Don’t miss sunrise or sunset views, the light on the Eiger is unforgettable.

🇨🇭 Comment “Grindelwald” and I send you a Free link to hikes in the Grindelwald region.
