• Bihu every year feels special to me because I get to drape my mother’s old mekhela sador. It brings back so many memories- watching her get ready during Bihu when I was younger, the way she looked so graceful and full of life.
• I also tried to decorate the house the way she used to - putting up gamusas and arranging flowers. It wasn’t perfect, but it felt right.
